ABOUT THE MEET
The “Who Got Heart” Invitational is more than a track meet — it is a tribute to perseverance, resilience, and the spirit of showing up no matter the circumstances.

This event was created in honor of Mariah Dalton, a beloved Future Stars Athletics, athlete and coach whose strength and dedication left a lasting impact on our athletes and community. Despite battling illness for years, Mariah consistently showed up — to practices, to meets, and for her athletes — with unwavering energy, encouragement, and heart.

Her commitment to others, even in the face of personal adversity, is the foundation of this meet.

The “Who Got Heart” Invitational also honors the memory of other Future Stars members who are no longer with us, ensuring their legacy continues to inspire the next generation.
Through this event, we recognize athletes who go beyond performance — those who demonstrate perseverance on and off the track, no matter what they’ve had to overcome.
